Semiconductors, a key pillar of Taiwan's 5+2 Industrial Innovation Plan, have driven the development of related supply chains, including chips, passive components, memory, heat dissipation, and packaging/testing. This growth also propels the application of AI technologies in IoT, network communications, cloud, and edge computing. As a convergence of these technologies, electric vehicles and smart automotive electronics are emerging as a significant new market. Breakthroughs in semiconductor and chip technologies are ushering in a new wave of competition in the automotive sector, presenting a major opportunity for Taiwan's industry.
Commissioned by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Institute for Information Industry (III) has been assisting Taiwan’s ICT and automotive component industries in cross-industry integration to establish a presence in smart automotive electronics and connect with global supply chains.
To continue building growth momentum, the seminar and workshop will provide a platform for semiconductor and smart automotive electronics industry professionals to explore the current status and challenges of the international market. The event aims to inspire breakthrough innovations, share advanced development experiences, and discover successful business models. By exploring potential collaborations across the supply chain, the event encourages cross-domain integration and joint efforts to enter the global smart automotive electronics market.
